The BIPPA is delighted to announce that we are now inviting submissions of papers to be considered for a Regional Conference at Queen’s University Belfast, taking place on the 17th of September (TBC), which was made possible with financial support from the Queen’s University Belfast School of History, Anthropology, Philosophy and Politics (HAPP).

As this is a regional conference, we are accepting proposals for talks in the areas of moral and political philosophy from postgraduate students in Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland only. We especially encourage applications from all who identify as members of underrepresented groups in academia. People who have previously completed a postgraduate degree in philosophy and are in the transition to another are also welcome, regardless of their enrollment status.

Speakers will be asked to prepare a presentation of around 25-30 minutes and take friendly and constructive feedback from audience members.

To express interest in presenting at the conference, please fill out this minimal application, so we can clearly identify your submission and know something about you:

The deadline for expression of interest is Monday the 18th of July at 12pm GMT. The selected candidates will hear back by Monday the 1st of August.

In our form, you will be asked to fill out this information:
