The British and Irish Postgraduate Philosophy Association (BIPPA) is delighted to announce our Regional Conference for the East and South East on the History of Hindu, South-Asian and Chinese Philosophy. The conference is scheduled to take place the 24th of September 2022, at King’s College London. The call for abstracts is now closed, and we invite everyone interested to register for the event. There will be two keynote addresses in the conference: one by Professor Leigh K. Jenco, professor of Political Theory at the London School of Economics specialised in Chinese political thought, Taiwanese thought and East Asian studies; and one by Dr Karen O’Brien-Kop, lecturer in Asian Religions and Ethics at the University of Roehampton specialised in early Central and South Asian Sanskrit philosophy and religion. On top of that, there will be five contributed talks by graduate students. The conference will be divided into a morning session on Indian Philosophy, and an afternoon session on Chinese Philosophy.
